Fadjar Sidik

Fadjar Sidik (1930 – 2004)  is an abstract painter raised in an environment rich with cultural influences, His artistic passion was nurtured from an early age. He pursued formal art education at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) during the 1960s, a pivotal period in Indonesia’s artistic history. Immersed in a dynamic artistic milieu, Sidik engaged with fellow artists, including the prominent Bandung School artists. With unparalleled artistry, he crafts captivating vistas across still life, landscape, and abstract genres.
